A storage tank, as the name implies, is a container for storage. Stainless steel storage tanks can be divided into raw material storage tanks, finished product storage tanks, and intermediate buffer tanks in the process engineering. They have vertical and horizontal structures. The design and selection of storage tanks are relatively simple. Generally, the nominal volume and the physical properties of the materials are provided, and then the design and production can be carried out.
Storage tanks strictly comply with the requirements of Article 31 and Article 32 of the General Principles of GMP (revised in 1998) in Good Manufacturing Practice for Pharmaceutical Production. They are designed, manufactured, and accepted in accordance with the requirements of Steel Pressure Vessels (GB150 – 1998) and Steel Welded Atmospheric Pressure Vessels (JB/T4735 – 1997).
The interfaces adopt the standard quick – fit clamp – on disk type, and imported 316L or 304 is selected. The inner surface is mirror – polished with Ra ≤ 0.4 μm, and the outer surface is matt, mirror – finished, or in 2B original color.
The nozzles include liquid level gauge interfaces, breather interfaces, thermometer interfaces, CIP cleaning ports, sight glasses, explosion – proof vision lamps, SIP sterilization ports, liquid inlet and outlet ports, manholes, etc. Custom – designed and manufactured products meeting various process requirements are available.
