Applications

Sanitary storage tanks are manufactured by our company in accordance with quality standards. The materials for the tank body and inner liner all adopt SUS316L or SUS304 stainless steel. The inner surface of the tank body is mirror – polished, with a roughness of Ra ≤ 0.4 μm. The outer insulation wall is made of SUS316L or SUS304 stainless steel. They are widely applied in the pharmaceutical, food, chemical, biological products and other industries for the normal – temperature storage or frozen storage of liquid or gas materials. They can be used to store extract, ethanol, acid, alkali, gas, etc.

Classification

Sanitary storage tanks are classified by form: They can be divided into vertical stainless steel sanitary storage tanks and horizontal stainless steel sanitary storage tanks; classified by pressure requirements: stainless steel pressure vessels and non – stainless steel pressure vessels.

According to the structure, they can be divided into: single – layer storage tanks, double – layer storage tanks (with an insulation layer), and three – layer storage tanks (with an insulation layer and a jacket)

Composition

Sanitary storage tanks are mainly composed of the tank body and accessories.

Sanitary storage tanks are mainly made up of the cylinder, supporting legs (or lugs), upper and lower heads, jacket, and insulation layer. The tank cylinder is cylindrical, and the upper and lower heads are standard elliptical or dished heads, mainly made of 304 or 316L stainless steel. The insulation material is mostly polyurethane or rock wool, with a thickness of 50 mm – 100 mm.

Accessories mainly include sanitary manholes, sight glasses and sight lamps, material liquid inlets and outlets, other process nozzles, CIP cleaning nozzles, and other options such as level gauges, thermometers, cleaning balls, breathers, weighing modules, pressure gauges, safety valves, etc.

All parts in contact with medicinal liquids are made of 304 or 316L stainless steel, featuring non – toxicity, no shedding, good corrosion resistance, etc. They can not only ensure the quality of medicines and food but also ensure a long service life of the equipment.

Performance Characteristics

Operational Performance
The accessories of the storage tank (such as manholes, inlets and outlets, level gauges, 呼吸 valves, etc.) are reasonably distributed, making observation and operation easy and convenient.
Sanitary Performance
The heads of the storage tank are in the form of standard ellipses or dishes, and the rounded corners are formed by Japanese – style flat – plate hydraulic forming; the joints of all nozzles are subject to drawing treatment to ensure that their corner parts transition smoothly in an arc form and the arc radius is ≥ 10 mm; all welds of the tank body are welded by automatic/manual argon arc welding and are treated by a stress relief machine; both the inner and outer surfaces of the equipment are mechanically fine – polished to ensure that the roughness of the inner surface Ra ≤ 0.6 μm, effectively avoiding product residue and reducing cleaning difficulty, meeting the requirements of sanitary – grade tanks. The inner surface is pickled and passivated to enhance the corrosion resistance of the equipment and improve its service life.
Appearance Performance
The outer surface of the storage tank is integrally sanded into a matte finish by an automatic polishing machine, with uniform and consistent polishing lines. The upper and lower heads are polished into a mirror or matte finish, with a roughness Ra ≤ 0.8 μm, giving a pleasing – to – the – eye feeling and avoiding light pollution.
