Electrically Heated Glue Melting Tank

Brief Introduction

The electrically heated bidirectional stirring glue melting tank, also known as electrically heated glue melting tank or stainless steel glue melting tank, adopts a closed three-layer structure. Electric heating tubes are inserted into the jacket for heating. The stirring system consists of two sets of shaft-type reducers. This stirring assembly uses multi-layer split-flow blades, driven by dual shafts rotating in bidirectional (forward and reverse) directions.

It features accelerated glue melting time, stable dissolution of gelatin particles, and prevention of gelatin liquid scorching. It improves the quality of gelatin liquid medium, enhances liquid homogeneity, ensures high-quality pellet pressing performance of pellet presses, increases the yield of capsule pellets, and improves enterprise efficiency.

Fully compliant with GMP hygiene standards, it serves as a new-type equipment for glue melting, batching, and vacuum stirring homogenization in the capsule pharmaceutical industry.

Differences Between Electrically Heated Glue Melting Tanks and Water Bath Glue Melting Tanks

Both electrically heated glue melting tanks and water bath glue melting tanks are used for glue melting and batching in the capsule pharmaceutical industry. Their main difference lies in the heating and temperature control methods:

  • Electrically Heated Tanks can achieve heating, temperature control, and cooling within a single tank without requiring an additional hot water tank.
  • Water Bath Tanks, in addition to the glue melting tank, need a separate hot water tank, which enables preheating.

Temperature Control Features:

  • Water bath tanks offer more convenient temperature control, allowing easier switching between heating and cooling.
  • Electrically heated tanks can also achieve such control, but they generally consume higher power. For factories with steam heat sources, water bath tanks are more cost-efficient

Features

  1. Tank Structure
The equipment adopts a closed three-layer tank structure, featuring stable vacuum performance, strong temperature maintenance, stable dissolution of gelatin particles, and excellent homogenization effect.
  2. Stirring System
The stirring assembly uses a live sleeve coupling-connected dual-shaft bidirectional multi-layer split-flow stirring paddle at the shaft position, enabling easy disassembly, installation, and maintenance.
  3. Driving Mechanism
The rotating part is composed of two sets of shaft-type reducers, ensuring smooth operation, low noise, and stable performance. It shortens glue melting time, improves gelatin liquid medium quality, and stabilizes liquid homogeneity.
  4. Hygienic Design
The inner tank, outer surface, and all components are polished smoothly for easy cleaning without dead corners. The compact overall structure reduces the height of the glue melting room, saves energy consumption, and complies with GMP hygiene standards.
  5. Operational Accessories
The upper part is equipped with a thermometer and vacuum gauge to monitor in-tank temperature and vacuum dynamics in real time. The feeding port (manhole) adopts a quick-opening and quick-mounting design, facilitating material feeding, internal cleaning, disassembly, and maintenance.
