Overview

1. Working Principle

The alcohol recovery tower operates based on the principle that alcohol has a lower boiling point than other solutions.
We heat and volatilize the dilute alcohol solution to be recovered at a temperature slightly higher than alcohol’s boiling point.
After distilling the solution in the tower, pure alcohol gas precipitates.
This process increases the concentration of the alcohol solution, thereby achieving the purpose of alcohol recovery.

2. Application Fields and Advantages

We mainly use the alcohol recovery tower to recover dilute alcohol in multiple industries.
These industries include pharmaceutical, food, light industry, and chemical sectors.
Additionally, it is suitable for the distillation recovery of solvent products such as methanol and acetone.
It boasts several key advantages: it is energy-saving and environmentally friendly, reduces production costs, and improves work efficiency.

3. Equipment Composition and Material

The alcohol recovery tower consists of six main parts.
These parts are the tower bottom, tower body, condenser, cooler, buffer tank, and high-level storage tank.
We use full stainless steel 304/316L for all components that come into contact with materials, giving it excellent corrosion resistance.
The tower bottom has an external jacket, and we use internal steam lifting for heating.
We adopt high-efficiency stainless steel corrugated packing inside the tower.
We treat the equipment’s outer surface with a matte finish to meet GMP pharmaceutical standards.
Furthermore, we make all equipment parts contacting alcohol—such as the condenser, pressure stabilizing tank, and cooling coil—from stainless steel.
Overall, the tower features high recovery efficiency and convenient operation.
