The transit storage tank, whose full name is the stainless steel transit buffer storage tank (abbreviated as the transit tank), refers to a tank used for buffering, temporary storage, or storing materials. In the pharmaceutical, food and dairy, and beverage industries, it mainly refers to an aseptic storage tank. In industries such as chemical engineering, coatings, and resin production, it mainly refers to a buffer temporary storage tank after batching. The transit tank can be a single – layer storage tank or a storage tank with insulation and heating layers. In the food and pharmaceutical industries, the transit storage tank is a stainless steel transit tank. For transit tanks in chemical engineering, coatings, and other industries where there are low requirements for hygiene levels and no impact on material properties, carbon steel storage tanks can be used. Small – sized transit tanks are generally equipped with movable casters, also called mobile storage tanks or mobile material tanks.
The mobile transit storage tank is specially used in the food or pharmaceutical industries. It is made of stainless steel 304 or 316L. The casters are selected with light load, and it is easy and flexible to move. The caster polyurethane (PU) wheels have low noise during movement and do not damage the ground. The caster device features that the matching backing plates all have rounded corners without burrs, cut by laser, with accurate hole spacing, and convenient caster replacement. The surface is electrophoretic, not easy to rust, and more beautiful. There are 2 PU directional wheels and 2 universal wheels with brakes. The caster backing plate is made of 304, with a thickness of 10 – 12mm.
