Supernatant Tank

Overview

As the name implies, a supernatant tank refers to a tank for storing supernatant. Expanding the definition, a stainless steel supernatant tank can be more broadly explained as a tank or container for storing, buffering, and temporarily holding raw materials, intermediate materials, or finished products. Supernatant tanks are widely used in industries such as food, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, juice beverages, and even as water storage tanks in small workshops. Supernatant tanks are mainly used for operations such as material storage, buffering, metering, and separation. Supernatant tanks are non-standard containers, and their design and selection depend on material characteristics, application environments, and relevant industry standards. The design and manufacturing requirements for supernatant tanks in the chemical, pharmaceutical, and food industries are different, and different industry standards are referred to. Our company specializes in the design and manufacturing of supernatant tanks, stainless steel supernatant tanks, and sanitary-grade supernatant tanks, with many years of design and production experience. The specifications range from 10L to 1000000L. Structurally, there are vertical supernatant tanks, horizontal supernatant tanks, etc. The material and nozzle configuration requirements of supernatant tanks vary according to process or working condition requirements. Friends from all walks of life are welcome to visit and inspect.

Features

Pharmaceutical sanitary-grade stainless steel supernatant tanks are meticulously manufactured in strict accordance with GB150 – 1998 “Steel Pressure Vessels”, “Steel Welded Atmospheric Pressure Vessels” (JB/T4735 – 1997), JB/T4709 – 2000 “Welding Procedures for Steel Pressure Vessels”, “Safety Technology Supervision Regulations for Pressure Vessels”, and Chapter IV, Articles 31 and 32 of the “Regulations on the Quality Management of Pharmaceutical Production” by the Ministry of Health. The products have the characteristics of high quality, high production efficiency, low use cost, and beautiful appearance.

This series of tanks is designed for the hygiene requirements of the pharmaceutical and food industries. High-quality stainless steel (304 or 316L, etc.) is selected as the material. The interior of the tank is precision polished, and all joints are welded with rounded transitions, without dead corners and easy to clean. Supernatant tanks are mainly divided into vertical and horizontal types, consisting of the tank body, upper and lower (left and right) heads, liquid level gauge, manhole, support feet, etc. They are equipped with 360-degree online cleaning balls, enabling convenient and thorough cleaning. A quick-opening manhole structure is adopted, facilitating inspection and feeding. Vertical supernatant tanks are designed with square disassembled edge support feet, which are beautiful in appearance and have good stability. A quick-opening liquid level gauge is adopted, enabling convenient and fast cleaning and maintenance.
