1. Overview and Definition

The steam heated reactor is a common industrial equipment. We widely use it in chemical, food, and other fields.
It uses steam as the heating medium. Specifically, it carries out chemical reactions or physical changes of materials inside the reactor.

2. Main Components and Material Selection

The steam reactor consists of several key components. These include the reactor body, reactor cover, agitator, heating jacket, and cooling jacket.
In addition, it also includes heat transfer tubes and safety devices. Among these components, we generally make the reactor body and cover from carbon steel or stainless steel.
These materials have certain pressure resistance. Besides, we can select the agitator according to different user needs.
The heating jacket and cooling jacket adjust the reaction temperature. Meanwhile, the heat transfer tube transfers steam into the jacket for heating.

3. Heating Characteristics and Control Functions

The steam heated reactor uses saturated water steam for heating. This heating method has a large heat transfer coefficient.
Furthermore, it also has a fast heat transfer speed. Additionally, it can achieve rapid cooling when needed.
We can connect the jacket to cooling water for quick cooling. Moreover, it can switch to cooling mode rapidly.
Furthermore, it can realize automatic control of temperature, stirring, and material liquid. In addition, it also supports custom design according to user requirements.

4. Tank Configuration and Process Ports

The tank is equipped with various functional process ports. These include a manhole, feed port, and discharge port.
It also has a sight glass, spotlight, breathing port, and CIP port (with a sanitary universal cleaning ball).
Additionally, it is fitted with a SIP port, aseptic sampling port, thermometer, and temperature sensor.
Besides, it also has a steam inlet, condensate outlet, and sampling port for comprehensive operation.
