Our company focuses on the design and manufacturing of static tanks, Chinese medicine static tanks, alcohol precipitation tanks, water precipitation tanks, and alcohol sedimentation tanks, with many years of design and production experience. Static tanks are mainly used for the operation of freezing or normal – temperature alcohol precipitation of concentrated liquid after the concentration of Chinese medicine decoction, and can also be used for the operation of water precipitation of concentrated liquid after alcohol extraction of Chinese medicine, as well as the blending and mixing of material liquids.

The static tank is composed of a cylindrical body with a jacket, an elliptical head, and a conical bottom. Freezing brine or cooling water can be introduced into the jacket of the cylinder body to indirectly cool the material liquid and control the temperature required for the precipitation of alcohol precipitation liquid. It is equipped with a mixing system that meets GMP requirements and a special fine – tuning rotating liquid outlet pipe. The static tank is also suitable for the freezing or normal – temperature precipitation of suspension liquids, liquid – solid phase separation, and other process operations in other industries such as pharmaceuticals, chemicals, dyes, and food.

The Chinese medicine static tank is a sedimentation – type liquid – solid phase separation equipment. The concentrated liquid of Chinese medicine decoction (usually with a specific gravity of about 1.1) is to remove non – alcohol – soluble starch, protein, etc. Alcohol is added to prepare a liquid of a certain concentration, and then sedimentation is carried out at normal temperature or low – temperature freezing for liquid – solid separation, so as to improve the purity and clarity of the Chinese medicine extraction liquid and thus improve the product quality.

The concentrated liquid and alcohol are put in according to their respective proportional amounts as required by the process, and freezing brine or cooling water is turned on, and then stirring is started. Under the action of stirring, the material liquid is mixed evenly. After reaching the temperature required by the material liquid, stirring is stopped. Freezing brine or cooling water continues to be introduced into the jacket to ensure the required liquid temperature. After the precipitation is completed, the supernatant liquid outlet valve is opened, and the supernatant liquid is pumped out by a pump or vacuum. As the supernatant liquid level gradually drops, the angle of the liquid outlet pipe in the tank is fine – tuned by turning the handwheel, and the control is carried out by observing through the top sight glass. When the supernatant liquid is pumped out, the liquid outlet valve is closed immediately. If the sediment needs to be discharged, type A can be selected. Two cylinders are controlled by a pneumatic switch to open the bottom cover. After the sediment is removed and cleaned, the bottom cover is closed. If liquid discharge is to be carried out, type B slag outlet can be selected. First, water (or other liquid media) is added, stirring is started, the sediment is made into a suspension, and then the bottom ball valve is opened to drain the suspension. Then, the inner wall of the tank is cleaned with water, etc., and the ball valve is closed.

The precipitation time of liquid – solid separation (alcohol precipitation) of the precipitation liquid is directly related to the liquid temperature in the tank. The general situation of Chinese medicine alcohol precipitation is as follows:
