The resin reactor is a key used in the production of unsaturated polyester resin, rosin resin, epoxy resin, phenolic resin, alkyd resin, paint, and adhesives. The structure and configuration of the resin reactor can be standardized and humanized according to the production process requirements. During the reaction process, it can achieve feed control, discharge, stirring control, and other manual and automatic controls.

Structure

The resin reactor consists of a reactor body (cylinder), a reactor (head), a jacket or coil, an upper mechanical agitator, a transmission device (motor reducer), an axial seal device, support (platform support legs), insulation medium, etc.

The resin reactor is divided into high-temperature resin reactors (150℃-300℃) and-temperature resin reactors (60℃-150℃) according to the high and low reaction temperatures.

Port configuration

The reactor body is equipped manholes (which can also be used as solid feed ports), feed ports, discharge ports, sight glasses, spotlights, breathing ports, thermometers, temperature, cold and hot medium inlets and outlets, etc. The ports can be designed and manufactured according to the process, and the port connection forms include quick-releaseange type, flange type, and threaded type, which are selected according to the process requirements.

The resin complete set of equipment consists of a reactor vertical fractionating column, horizontal condenser, water tank, oil overflow tank, pipeline (for dilute kettle), etc., and all parts of the that come into contact with the material are made of stainless steel. An inner stainless steel coil or a stainless steel coil can be set inside the jacket.

Features

  1. Resin Reactor Vessel Body: Inner tank body SUS304 or SUS316L or Q23-B; Jacket is Q235-B or SUS304; The outer insulation shell is SUS304 or Q235B. The inner surface of the stainless steel tank is polished with a mirror surface, and the surface is finely polished Ra≤0.6μm. The outer adopts a mirror surface or 2B cross-grain plate. Jacket form: Different jacket forms are selected according to different heating methods, including full jacket,-tube jacket, and detachable jacket. Insulation material: Filling pearl cotton, rock wool, or polyurethane casting foam is used to maintain the temperature with the outside world, achieving the effect of heat insulation and heat preservation. The surface treatment of the outer shell: mirror polishing or 2B unpolished or 2B sanding surface matte treatment or spraying treatment.
  2. Cover: Two-door hinged cover (with an inclined bottom structure or conical bottom (or ellipsoidal, butterfly head) structure) is adopted for easy cleaning, and the upper and lower conical head structure or the upper and ellipsoidal (or butterfly) head structure can also be selected. The inner surface of the stainless steel is polished with a mirror surface (roughness Ra≤06μm), and the outer surface is polished mechanically to Ra≤0.8μm.
  3. Resin Reactor Bottom Structure: bottom is processed into a R corner by spinning, and there is no dead angle after welding and polishing with the inner tank body, and it is inclined at ° towards the discharge port to facilitate emptying of materials without residue.
  4. Agitator: The top is a (biased) central agitator and the output shaft of the reducer is connected to the agitator shaft with a detachable coupling, which is convenient for disassembly and cleaning. Agit speed: 15~120r/min (fixed speed or custom-made); according to the process requirements, the agitator blade form: type, anchor type, blade type, turbine type, etc., can be selected, or designed according to the customer’s special requirements
  5. Resin Reactor Configuration: Electrical control box (including thermometer, level meter, pressure display, switch, indicator light, spotlight switch etc.), manhole, feed and discharge ports, cold and hot medium inlets and outlets, spare port, cleaning port, thermometer port, pressure gauge, vacuum port, etc.
  6. All process openings of the inlet and outlet pipes and the welding parts of the inner tank body are provided with a fillet transition, which is smooth, easy to clean, and free of dead corners, and has an aesthetically pleasing appearance.
