Heating and Insulation Storage Tank

Definition and Application

As the name implies, a heating and insulation storage tank is a storage tank with heating and insulation functions, and it is generally a stainless steel storage tank. Heating can achieve the heating and temperature – rising of materials, and the insulation layer can maintain the temperature of materials. An insulation storage tank can be an insulation storage tank with heating, or it can be one where a hot medium or cold medium is directly injected into the tank for insulation. A double – layer insulation storage tank only has an insulation function and no heating function. A heating and insulation storage tank is also called a three – layer insulation storage tank, which has both heating and insulation functions. This is the difference between the two. Heating and insulation storage tanks are used in links such as heating, insulating, storing, and transferring material liquid. They are one of the commonly used equipment in industries such as food, pharmaceuticals, and chemicals, and are used in conjunction with mixing tanks, liquid preparation tanks, batching tanks, reaction kettles, etc.

Classification

  1. Classification by Form: It can be divided into vertical and horizontal stainless steel tanks.
  2. Classification by Use: It can be divided into stainless steel tanks for brewing, stainless steel tanks for food, stainless steel tanks for pharmaceuticals, stainless steel tanks for dairy industry, stainless steel tanks for chemical industry, stainless steel tanks for petroleum, stainless steel tanks for building materials, stainless steel tanks for electric power, stainless steel tanks for metallurgy.
  3. Classification by Sanitary Standard: Hygienic – grade stainless steel tanks and ordinary stainless steel tanks.
  4. Classification by Pressure Requirement: Pressure storage tanks and atmospheric pressure vessels.
