Alcohol recovery tower is based on the principle that the boiling point of alcohol is lower than that of other solutions. The dilute alcohol solution to be recovered is heated and volatilized at a temperature slightly higher than the boiling point of alcohol. After distillation in the tower, pure alcohol gas is precipitated, and the concentration of alcohol solution is increased to achieve the purpose of alcohol recovery.
Alcohol recovery tower is mainly used for the recovery of dilute alcohol in pharmaceutical, food, light industry, chemical and other industries. It is also suitable for the distillation recovery of methanol, acetone and other solvent products. It has the advantages of energy saving, environmental protection, reducing production cost and improving efficiency.
The alcohol recovery tower consists of six parts: the bottom of the tower, the body of the tower, condenser, cooler, buffer tank, and high-level storage tank. All components in contact with materials are made of full stainless steel 304/316L, providing excellent corrosion resistance. The bottom of the tower has an external jacket and is steam-lifted internally. High-efficiency stainless steel corrugated packing is used, and the outer surface of the equipment is treated with a matte finish to meet GMP pharmaceutical standards. The recovery efficiency is high, and operation is convenient. All equipment parts that come into contact with alcohol, such as the condenser, pressure stabilizing tank, and cooling coil, are made of stainless steel.
The biggest feature of this equipment is that it can be operated continuously and the operation is simple and maintenance is convenient. In the pharmaceutical industry, ethanol recovery is commonly used in T300 alcohol recovery tower and DT600 alcohol recovery tower.
