Fully Automatic CIP Cleaning System

Overview

Fully Automatic CIP Cleaning System, In-Place Cleaning System, SIP System

Fully Automatic CIP (Cleaning In Place) refers to the process where equipment (tanks, pipelines, pumps, etc.) and entire production lines are cleaned and disinfected in a closed loop according to pre-set programs without manual disassembly. Our company’s fully automatic CIP cleaning system features safety, energy efficiency, high performance, and ease of operation and maintenance.

The system is composed of acid, alkali, hot water, pure water tanks, concentrated acid/alkali tanks, and heat exchangers. It can automatically adjust acid and alkali concentrations based on user settings. Users can configure different cleaning processes, temperatures, and durations, enabling intelligent and convenient one-button operation.

Functions and Specifications

The fully automatic CIP cleaning system is equipped with various functions including water inlet/drainage, alkali addition, heating, acid/alkali concentration measurement and control, CIP process automation, liquid level display and monitoring, and self-cleaning capabilities. It utilizes PLC logic control with a human-machine interface (HMI) LCD screen, enabling users to set and adjust cleaning parameters such as time, temperature, concentration, and flow rate.

The manual CIP version replaces pneumatic automatic valves with manual valves while retaining automatic concentration control instruments for acid/alkali solutions. Liquid levels are displayed via glass sight gauges, and heat exchangers offer a choice between coil or plate types. Regardless of configuration, the system ensures optimal pressure and flow rate matching for efficient cleaning of tanks and pipelines, eliminating residual liquids effectively.

Key external components can be configured with imported parts (e.g., APV, GEA, Alfa Laval, Spirax Sarco, SMC, Camozzi, FESTO, Siemens) or domestic equivalents. The entire system is constructed from SUS304 or 316L stainless steel, with tank and pipeline interiors polished to Ra1.6-Ra0.8 surface roughness, meeting national standards.

Tanks and System Overview

Generally, 2-4 cleaning tanks are provided, respectively containing alkali, acid, hot water, and sterile water. This equipment is applied in beer and beverage production lines for cleaning the interior of filler tanks, and can also be used for cleaning the interior and exterior of equipment in other industries. Its advanced performance is comparable to similar imported products.

The CIP (Cleaning In Place) equipment consists of tanks, pipelines, heat exchangers, cleaning pumps, liquid addition pumps, and a control cabinet. The pipeline system includes: water inlet pipelines, drainage pipelines, heating circulation cleaning pipelines, and self-cleaning pipelines. Main components in the pipelines include various pneumatic control valves and on-line monitoring instruments, forming a CIP system together with the aforementioned pumps, tanks, and pipelines.

Functions of Fully Automatic CIP Cleaning System

  1. Automatically heats liquids to the set working temperature.
  2. Automatically adds and adjusts tank liquids requiring concentration control.
  3. Performs automatic cleaning of the object according to a pre-defined program.
  4. Automatically adjusts cleaning pressure as per design requirements.
  5. Enables cold/hot water self-cleaning for the interior and exterior of tanks.
  6. Filters and recycles cleaned liquids according to different medium requirements.
  7. Provides acid cleaning for heat exchangers.
