Electric Heating Extraction Tank

Overview

Our company specializes in the design and manufacturing of traditional Chinese medicine extraction tanks, multifunctional extraction tanks, steam heating extraction tanks, electric heating extraction tanks, small-scale extraction tanks, and stainless steel extraction tanks. Extraction tanks are welded with high-quality stainless steel 304 or 316L, featuring cleanliness, no dead corners, no residue, and no material accumulation.

The electric heating extraction tank is designed and developed for scientific research institutions and enterprises/institutions without steam access. It boasts features such as rapid heating, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, no environmental pollution, and convenient operation. It is applied in extraction, infusion, decoction, and infiltration processes across industries including food, chemical, pharmaceutical, petroleum, rubber, and pesticide.

The electric heating extraction tank uses electric heating tubes for indirect heating and temperature control of the jacket. The electric heating tubes heat the heating medium (such as heat-conducting oil or water) in the jacket. Once the medium reaches the set temperature, it automatically powers off to maintain a constant temperature. When the medium temperature reaches a certain level, the materials in the tank achieve the corresponding temperature, enabling indirect temperature control of the materials by regulating the medium temperature. The quantity and power of electric heating tubes are designed and calculated based on parameters such as volume, heating temperature, and temperature rise time.

Due to its high heating temperature and heat transfer via heating tubes, the electric heating extraction tank is affected by heating power and is less suitable for large-scale tanks, making it ideal for medium and small-sized applications.

Structure

Composed of the head, cylinder, jacket, heater, agitator, mechanical seal, transmission device, and support. The inner surface of the tank is mirror-polished to ensure no sanitary dead corners, and the fully enclosed design keeps materials in a sterile and clean state. The outer surface can be polished, cold-rolled with matte finish, or sandblasted.

  • Agitator Types: Paddle type, anchor type, ribbon type, wall-scraping type, etc., to ensure uniform mixing of materials within a short time.
  • Accessories: Sterile breather, CIP cleaning spray head, sight glass, flange, sanitary quick-opening manhole, slag discharge door, cylinder, etc.
  • Installation Form: Platform-type lug installation is commonly used, as the slag discharge door requires a certain height for placing a slag discharge cart.

Installation Conditions and Usage Precautions

Installation Requirements

  • Install the equipment on a sturdy and flat workbench, and the height can be determined according to actual usage.
  • Ensure that the transmission shaft is perpendicular to the horizontal plane during installation.
  • Self-provided components of the equipment, such as safety valves, must be equipped in accordance with process requirements.

2. Post-installation Inspections

  • After installation, check whether all connecting components and transmission parts are firm and reliable.
  • Conduct airtightness tests on all connecting pipes, pipe openings, seals, and the entire electric heating extraction tank.

3. Heating Medium Usage Specifications

  • Impurities are strictly prohibited in the heating medium of the jacket (e.g., when using heat-conducting oil, water, acids, alkalis, and other impurities must not be mixed in).
  • When using heat-conducting oil for the first time, remove all debris from the jacket thoroughly. The oil filling amount should be 70% of the jacket’s volume.
  • Prepare a self-provided 引流管 (plastic hose is acceptable) for convenient oil addition. Keep the cap of the heat-conducting oil filling port open during use (do not cover it).

4. Operational Prohibitions

  • Do not turn on the heating power supply when there is no material in the tank and no heat-conducting oil in the jacket.

5. Heating Operation Requirements

  • During the first heating, raise the temperature slowly to prevent oil and water vapor from boiling violently.

6. Routine Maintenance Points

  • Regularly inspect the oil level of heat-conducting oil in the jacket and replenish it in a timely manner.
  • Frequently check whether the electric heating rods are damaged to avoid uneven heating.
  • Regularly inspect and clean the vent valves and pipes of the jacket and upper head to prevent blockage, and ensure the upper opening of the expander remains unobstructed.

7. Liability Statement

  • Users must install and use the equipment in strict accordance with the instructions in the operation manual. Any issues arising from non-compliant operations shall be borne by the user.

Notes

  • The translation follows technical documentation standards, using hierarchical headings and lists for clarity.
  • Key terms (e.g., “airtightness test”, “heat-conducting oil”) adhere to industry terminology, and exclamation marks in the original are converted to objective statements for formal writing.
