In chemical engineering, a dissolution tank is a mixing and stirring vessel for dissolving one or several materials according to process ratios. It can also serve as a buffer, or be used for reactions such as distillation, extraction, solution preparation, acid-base neutralization, and post-treatment of decomposition. A stainless steel dissolution tank, also known as a dissolution reaction tank, is used for processes like dissolution, heating, cooling, metering, and chemical reactions within the tank.
Dissolution tanks share similar working principles with reaction kettles and stirring tanks, but differ in details and application scenarios.
