1. Product Overview and Core Features
As the name suggests, the closed cold and hot cylinder adopts a closed design. Unlike other conventional cold and hot cylinders, which are usually open-type with side-hinged lids, this closed design gives it unique advantages in hygiene and performance.
We compose the closed cold and hot cylinder with multiple key components. Specifically, it includes an upper conical head, an inner tank, a lower conical head, a jacket (either full jacket or spiral coil type), an outer casing, a stirring device, an electric motor reducer, a motor base, a thermometer, a liquid level gauge, and support legs.
We select either imported motors or high-quality domestic motors for the equipment. This selection ensures the motor reducer stays cool during prolonged operation, boasts a long service life, requires minimal maintenance, and operates with low noise levels.
2. Material and Surface Treatment
We construct the closed cold and hot cylinder from high-quality stainless steel, specifically S30408 or S31603, to ensure corrosion resistance and hygiene.
The inner surface undergoes mirror polishing, while the outer surface adopts a brushed treatment. Both inner and outer surfaces have no peeling, which ensures compliance with sanitary workshop standards.
3. Heating Methods
The equipment offers three flexible heating methods to adapt to different production needs. First, it supports electric heating, which is convenient and energy-efficient for small-scale or precise temperature control scenarios.
Second, it can use steam heating, which is suitable for large-scale production with high heating efficiency. Third, it also accommodates thermal cycling medium heating, providing stable and uniform temperature distribution.
4. Jacket Types
We provide three jacket types for customers to choose from, based on their specific process requirements. First, the full jacket type offers comprehensive heat transfer and is ideal for uniform temperature control.
Second, the spiral coil type, available in groove type or semi-circular, enhances heat exchange efficiency with its increased contact area. Third, the Miller plate design jacket further optimizes heat transfer performance for special working conditions.
5. Control Modes
5.1 Manual Control
The manual control mode is simple and intuitive. Operators control the motor reducer through on/off buttons, check the temperature on-site via the thermometer, and use manual valves for feeding and heating operations.
5.2 Automatic Control
For more efficient production, we offer an automatic control mode. We customize PLC programming according to specific process requirements, enabling automated functions such as feeding, heating, temperature maintenance, and pressure regulation.
This automation minimizes manual intervention, reduces human error, and improves production consistency.
6. Application Scenarios
The closed cold and hot cylinder is highly versatile and ideal for mixing, blending, storage, and transfer processes. It is widely used in industries such as pharmaceuticals, food & beverage, textiles, and other related fields.
7. Nozzle Configuration and Connection
The tank is equipped with various nozzles to meet different operational needs. These nozzles include a feed inlet, discharge outlet, spare port, CIP port, SIP port, medium inlet/outlet, thermometer port, and liquid level gauge port.
Moreover, we design the connection method of the nozzles to comply with relevant standards, ensuring tightness, safety, and convenience for maintenance.
