Overview

A high-speed sugar dissolving tank,also known as an efficient sugar dissolving tank,is a high-performance equipment used in food,pharmaceutical,beverage,and brewing industries for sugar dissolution.Sugar dissolution refers to the process of melting sugar-based substances,primarily including maltoes,glucose,sucrose,starch,cellulose,ect.,which is achieved through heating and stirring.As an “efficient “tank ,it features rapid sugar dissolution speed and high efficiency.How does it achieve high-speed dissolution?Below is an introduction to its composition.

Composition and Characteristics

The high-speed sugar dissolving tank employs a specially designed rotor and stator driven at high speed by a motor,sucking materials to be dissolved into the rotor.The high linear velocity and high-frequency mechanical effects generated by the rotor’s rapid rotation create strong kinectic energy,subjecting materials to comprehensive actions within the precise gap between the stator  and rotor:intense mechanical and hydraulic shearing, centrifugal extrusion, liquid layer friction, high-speed impact tearing, and turbulence. These actions fragment, break, and disperse the materials. Within a short period, the materials undergo hundreds of thousands of such shearing actions, enabling immiscible materials to instantly disperse, emulsify, homogenize, and dissolve uniformly and finely.

 

After being ejected at high speed from the rotor-stator assembly, the materials form a three-dimensional turbulent flow in all directions within a specific container, thanks to the flow redirecting device equipped in the emulsifier/homogenizer. Through high-frequency cyclic recirculation, stable high-quality products are ultimately achieved. Depending on the composition and characteristics of the sugar being dissolved, the tank can be equipped with devices for variable frequency speed regulation, heating, cooling, pressure regulation (including pressurization, depressurization, and vacuum systems).

 

The high-speed sugar dissolving tank is available in two basic shapes: square and cylindrical, with similar component structures. Typically, the cylindrical model has a stirrer mounted on the upper part for easy installation, while the square model features a bottom-mounted stirrer, ensuring thorough agitation, no material retention, and more uniform mixing. The rotation speed can be set to 1400 r/min or 2900 r/min based on the material properties, with other functions configurable as needed.
