Dairy Fermentation Tank

Overview

Dairy fermentation tanks are a common type of fermenter, featuring functions such as sterilization, cooling, temperature holding, and agitation. The tank is equipped with a sterile breather, sterile positive pressure fermentation system, and Miller plates to ensure a sterile, contamination-free fermentation environment with timely heating or cooling capabilities

The dairy fermentation tank consists of:
  1. Stainless Steel Vessel: Cylinder body with upper and lower heads
  2. Temperature Control System:
    • Jacket or coils for heating and cooling circulation
  3. Agitation System:
    • Stainless steel agitator (anchor type, paddle type, turbine type, dispersion disc, etc.)
    • Drive unit (motor reducer or pneumatic motor)
  4. Shaft Sealing:
    • Mechanical seal, skeleton oil seal, or packing
  5. Support Structure:
    • Platform, legs, skirt support, or mobile casters
  6. Insulation:
    • Thermal insulation media (e.g., polyurethane, rock wool)
    • Outer cladding (stainless steel or aluminum)
